65 years ago yesterday, this was signed. 65 years ago today, the Germans officially surrendered. It took another 3 months for Victory over Japan to be secured, following the dropping of 2 atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I'm pretty sure we'll cope with a hung parliament for a while.
